ECU unavailable etc

Thanks for this - I will investigate if possible. Otherwise I’ll let the dealer know along with a few other things 👍🏼
I’ve e now got the same issue. Got in the Grenadier after being parked up for four days and wipers permanently on ☹️. Along with lots of warnings. No esc, no hill assist, no downhill assist, reduced braking performance etc. Along with no indicators or high beams. Bloody frustrating. Managed to drive the 85 miles home with wipers constantly on and no indicators. Hopefully I didn’t annoy too many people with my lack of indicators. I phoned Tom at Compass in Bridgewater and he confirmed straight away that it would be a faulty steering control module. Now waiting for the parts before the 2hr drive each way to get it rectified.

Must be so frustrating with wipers constantly on. What causes the sensor to fail? Fingers crossed it does not happen to anyone on holiday. Having no indicators is definitely dangerous in traffic or the motorway.

No idea what’s causing it to fail. Apparently others have also as the dealer knew exactly what the problem was. No indicators or high beam and reduced braking performance along with no stability control etc. not a good combination.

The faulty steering module was an early "imbuggerance" which was well documented. Guess I thought it had been remedied... obviously not so!🙄
(At one stage it seemed like it may have been one of those "don't leave home without a spare" components one packs hoping it's not needed🤔 Time to revise?

Yes bloody annoying. Hopefully it’s an early VIN issue and once replaced there will be no more issues. 🤞🏼

Do you know what vin range or month/year. Mines May 2023. I don’t fancy getting stuck on a long journey.
