Hi, I saw the DVA new roof bars on a truck next door to me by coincidence and really like the low profile of them and the very affordable price of $550 with a discount code. They seem rather minimal though in strength.

But I also like the Owl Flat Earth roof rack with grated surface to walk on.

What’s your experience.

I too was considering owls 3/4 flat earth couldn’t find my self to pull the trigger and spend that much. Love the look but concerned with it not being a one piece frame. I’m sure it’s great but I also have no need at the time for an entire rack. I have two DVA roof bars. Super low profile sits a paper thickness off the roof bumpers or whatever you call that plastic. No new noticeable wind noise. Quickly installs and disassembles if need too. Perfect if you want a barely noticeable roof rack to quickly attach some things up.works as intended. Most weight I had on one bar was my daughter at 80lbs haha caught her standing on it one day no clue why she was there. Either way It suits me and my needs.

Yeah it’s especially tempting for me as Owl Vans is just here in Mesa and I can stop by there anytime as well as the Ineos dealer in Phx has them. But the DVA bars are a fourth the price and more functional for attachments
to them. I have the Rhino cross bars which are working perfectly for me but I am seeking a lower and narrower profile. These are not third world problems!

I like my DVA roof bars. I bought two, then a few months later another two. Light weight, super low profile, and installation took about 5 minutes for each bar.
