Hi, Has anyone tried the DVA Mechanics Roof Rails with a RTT? Tent is ARB Esperance (57Kg) and Awning is Latitute Wingman 270+ (29Kg). Have asked DVA and they said Static weight (including my wife and myself) is close to limit for the rails (but should be okay) and Dynamic weight is fine. Not sure whether it is possible to get under the roof rails to attach the tent and whether the awning will fit. Interested in other suggestions for the roof rails too but like these as they are low profile and look pretty tidy.

Might be worth speaking to Tom at Overbuilt UK. He was a technician at Carlisle dealership and set up on his own as he was too good and interested in the vehicle to stay as an employee. He did some bits on mine when he worked at the dealer. He deals with DVA and imports their stuff so will be very knowledgeable.

Thanks - that's useful. I have ordered the DVA rails so will send some pics once all mounted. Useful to have the contact for Tom as also looking for a leisure battery for the fridge etc.

He sorted me out with fitting and sourcing the leisure battery for my fridge.

I have DVA racks but no RTT on the Grenadier. I assume there are brackets that fits to the rails and the RTT attaches to those? If so, take a look at using the DVA L-track bolts which are M8 and come in three different lengths. I use those for my shovel mount and M6 L-track sliders for my Hi-Lift. I had to adjust the length of the bolts for the slider attachment while the track bolts were easier to use (I use the 20mm length version.). Also, with weight on the rails the center can come into contact with the raised part of the IG roof. I've put some adhesive-backed foam pads attached to the bottom of the rails to prevent metal to metal contact.
