I saw the same post on Reddit, but I'll ask here. It looks as though the mount points are the grab rails and therefore, no option for drip rail mounts. Is that correct? Would this then mean that for the Quartermaster owners, we'd only be able to mount these rails on the rear of the cab?

Yes -- this version only mounts on the roof rails. We'll look at making a gutter mount!
