14 AWG shouldn’t be carrying 50A at any length, much less 3m. At 50A you’re looking at 20% voltage drop and overheated conductors. The DTP connector is not rated for it, either, it’s 25A. Neither are either of the EXT roof circuits, assuming this was the intended application.

What am I missing here? Is the intent to wire two separate positive connections independently of the EXT circuits and have chassis grounds carried on separate conductors? If so, why is not two red conductors? Even still, 25A per 14AWG conductor at that length is more voltage drop than most applications would tolerate.

Edit: at the given length, this would need to be 10AWG at a 25A rating to maintain a ~0.5V drop, which I would consider maximum acceptable.

For the use cases they quote (fridges etc) 14AWG should be sufficient. Agree that 50A is overstating it.

3 of the roof ports share 1 15A circuit and 1 is 25A. This is specifically for Grenadier’s with Roof Top tents with Anderson ports (there are many) and gives easy access to the Grenadier’s rooftop DTP port. The Anderson connector is rated for 50A - there is no 50A DTP port on the Grenadier.

Hope that clears it up!

The Anderson connector is the only element rated for 50A. Everything else—the conductor, the DTP connection, the EXT fusing, etc. is realistically less than half of that when you include this assembly’s line loss and the internal DTP wiring back to the auxiliary fuse panel. I am sure that for a RTT application like lights, fan, etc it should be fine in practice, but you should amend the amperage rating, if only for liability reasons.
