I tried searching but can't find what I am looking.

I have the time to finally install my chase lights to the drivers (left) side interior switch wiring. Do I need all of the components that comes with the Baja lights?

Do I clip the brass rings and connect to the truck wires and find a place to hide the relay, fuse, etc? Or run straight wires since the truck already has a fuse for that switch?

If I use all of these wires what do I do with the plugged switch wire since the truck has the switch already?

And here I thought the front off road light mod was going to be harder. lol

If you're going to a roof outlet for these, skip the relay and fuse holder that comes with the Baja harness
I successfully used the switched roof outlets to power a pair of rear-facing Baja Design S2 lights. I also discovered that use of yellow lenses gives drivers viewing from behind the false impression that the lights are those of an oncoming vehicle. For that reason I have changed the lenses to red, for Chase Light/Fog Light use.

Makes sense. I am only going to use them for reversing as needed so I won't be complicating it with connecting to the backup wire. Didn't even both with that for my wolf camera.

Nope just the drivers side footwell wire. But using the ceiling switch so I figured that would be a similar set up as the roof outlets.
Ahh yes, same same... you can skip the relay and inline fuse, just run the + and - to the wires in the footwell
