eBay emailed me, interesting Thornton's breakers have a slightly damaged body shell for sale £2,000.

Which of course means that they have stripped a damaged vehicle for parts. Worth giving them a call if you have any requirements.

Yes they had it advertised a while ago, I was hoping they had a saddle leather wheel and handbrake but sadly not

Who is going to buy a written off shell. The vehicle is too new for rust to be an issue. l suppose if you rolled your Grenadier it might be a better bet than repairing it.

You are going to need more than that pump to go with that shell

If you click on sellers other items and search for Ineos you'll see most of the rest of the vehicle.

It's a little disturbing that so little damage wrote it off.

Parts are incredibly expensive from Ineos, I think it would be reasonably easy to write one off

It might be of use to repair a damaged corner, roof or side pillars. I suppose you could chop out the section needed.

I was hoping they would have the rubber mounts that go on the support ‘pegs’ for the auxillary radiators When I needed some they were £18+ each from the dealer. That was over 18 months ago. Ouch

Add that to labour costs and it's so easy to write anything off

Same ballpark as BMW and Jaguar is my comparison.

For example BMW had quoted me $15,000 AUD for headlights on an X6. I queried it and was told lucky it isn’t laser lights which can be up to $40,000 for a set. Ineos rear brake lens apparently is $2500. So seems pretty comparable
