It was specifically designed to mate with the B58.

Well I sure hope so. Wouldn't want some pesky transmission that wasn't designed to mate to the engine it's attached to.

Transmission, Infotainment, Computers are all BMW. Software is done through BMW. It is undeniable.

Sorry I am late to respond.
You might be right with some computers for the motor. And of course the responding software.
But ZF is a German company that supplies car manufactures all over the world with their parts. You will find their products also in USA-built cars (probably for a higher price since some months…)
The infotainment is (as said before) from Neusoft. A Chinese manufacturer relatively unknown.
So besides the motor there is no BMW product built in. At least I don’t know about it. You can of course deny those information and keep your ideas as the truth. It is up to you.
