A contraption for occasional loads to protect roof from scratches

Stock G height is 2.07m. My garage opening is 2.10m. It may look like I have enough clearance for a very slim rack, but reality is annoying as always.
Most of garage and parking structure entrances are not level and/or not flat (including mine), so the rear end of the truck may rotate over the rear axle and go up a little, enough to rub or hit something even if the sign says that I should fit.
Once I bought mine, I had to test all my regular parkings in both directions, entering and exiting. Some were too close, less than 10mm. So I have no clearance to spare for any kind of rack and I already lowered tire pressure to 36psi.
This applies to every Grenadier actually - any roof rack on this truck is a disaster waiting to happen.

I have an occasional need to transport minor loads on the roof which would not fit or are too dirty for the cabin. The main purpose is to provide a more or less firm surface and protect the roof paint from scratches. It has to lie on Grenadier's standard plastic roof rails, be strapped tight to existing side "handles," and the load would also be strapped to the same handles on top. Ideally, some kind of a rubberized rigid or semi-rigid folding mat.
Possible loads - a few bikes, a Christmas tree, a large box, and so on.
A good old tarp would kind of work, of course, but it will flop and may tear. Not ideal.
Did anybody find already a neat and a convenient solution for this kind of things?
yoga mats. they roll up nicely.

Essentially, yes. Some sleeping pads may also work. There are folding kinds for both, those will work better I think. Rolls take more space and love to unroll on their own. Just need to find one meant for sumo wrestlers, 4+ ft. wide.

Mine says it is under 2.05m and experience to date suggests its accurate.
