2026 owners

I have a 26, and it's been great so far. I did have an issue as mentioned previously where I got a warning the back door was open. It started when I was on the highway and hit a few bumps. After I reclosed it no issues.

Steering has been fine
HVAC I leave in auto and have the temp set to 72. Never really touch it.

The ADAS was a bit annoying, It kept saying I was distracted, I raised my seat up and it's been better since. I also had the dealer update the isa file and since then I get less of the camera icon n function warnings

It really drives like a Cadillac compared to my previous 95 D90.

For me, I only get a super short alarm on a ver heavy compression, like s big dip in the road with a bump at the bottom. Never get visual on eh display, just the bong. I'm not sure if the brakes need to go out or in.
Yes this was the same as mine - a single bong on a sharp dip or bump. I got the visual alarm display but it took me a long time to see it - it's very brief.

I initially adjusted my latch inwards as I thought that would hold the door tighter but it actually made it worse. So I adjusted outwards and it fixed it.

Have not had the rear door sensor issue, JP but have it on the passenger door. Also the Automatic lane departure or ELK system is definitely difficult to get used to or use if conditions such as this last weekend with hit winds where you want to hug a side lane to give more room for trucks. It was self correcting back towards the trucks that were crossing over the lane next to me due to jousting winds. Anyone know how to disable these?

EDITED all the typos cause I couldn’t even tell what I wrote !
I would assume it's similar and a latch is not completely closing. Before getting it fiexed, I also closed the door and did not hear any alarms or sensor going off. Once i hit a speedbump the door "realized" it wasnt completely closed and gave me the alarm.

You can disable it in the "Vehicle Settings".
There are two different options, one is just the warning (sound) and one is the steering intervention, which doesn't adjust your steering like e.g. Audi does by turning the steering wheel to stay within the lane but as the dealer told me, it actually breaks the wheels on the opposite side, moving the car back into the lane - which at the same time is quite unexpected and will "wake you up" but also interfere with a correction you might be doing anyways.. so it leads to an "overreaction".

On the highway it doesnt botter me too much but once I'm driving mountain passes I typically deactivate it. You can also put it on your favorite button to open the correct tab in the vehicle settings and then it's two separate options which you can deactivate via touchscreen.

That's not disabling it. It doesn't persist. Totally sucks.

The annoyance with disabling these things is that you then get the orange warning triangle and some othe orange warning image. I've turned them off on the various courtesy ones they've given me but I find the orange warnings signs just as distracting
