Yep Marshalls have always been above expectation for me, nothing too much trouble.

Agree on brakes, I checked my pads a few weeks back and they’re fine. For such a heavy vehicle they are not hard on brakes.

Keep an eye on eBay, I got a set of brand new steelies and Bridgestones that were still hairy for £450 - had to arrange my own courier for £50 but still a bargain.

I think the reason it is not particularly hard on the brakes, is because the original Brembo pads are very hard material. Hence the lack of " feel " and non inspiring braking performance compared to other vehicles. Or servo umph is lacking. It will be interesting to see what happens to front pad wear when non OEM Brembo pads get replaced with other manufacturer's options.

Update re warranty work between Marshalls Huntly and Ineos Edinburgh … basically Chris Armstrong is the POC ( works for Aston Martin , of which grenadier comes under their umbrella ) in Edinburgh - had an email conversation whereby he advised me to go to one of the dealerships !!! Explained that previously warranty work had been authorised by dealership in Edinburgh, and subsequently job completed in Huntly . Chris advised me to make contact with Marshalls to see what they said . Having TODAY spoken directly to Marshalls at Huntly , they will currently ONLY undertake service work …. This may change in future , if and when issues get resolved with Ineos . I informed chris as such by email and waiting on response . Huntly as always extremely professional . Lost for words really and probably best I don’t put my thoughts in writing

Just had it reaffirmed that GL Marshal are NOT undertaking any warranty work with Ineos for the moment (despite customer services etc saying otherwise), however GL Marshal still operate as an Ineos "service centre" . The nearest centres for any warranty work are Stirling and Edinburgh

Received a call from Ineos customer services - they were most apologetic for the confusion and wasted time and effort and were unaware of any issues with Marshals. Was informed that warranty work will be undertaken at Dingwall now - just waiting on time / date. For those closer to Dingwall - details are Docharty Road, Dingwall IV15 9UG tel 01349864770 . Although the official grenadier "website" only shows as offering "servicing" maybe worth calling them if you are nearby and have any warranty issues.
