Retired USAF 1986 to 2010.

Flew AC-130H Gunships and MC-130s for 20 years. Love the Grenadier and love to see fellow vets from all over the globe here!
Cool! I grew up in Shalimar, FL (N of Hurlburt) and have fond memories of hearing the Spectre's miniguns, bofors and 105's off in the distance when I was a kid, playing outside (do kids do that anymore?) Don't know what range was within earshot, but I heard it. Maybe over the Choctawhatchee Bay?

Ahhh Shalimar! Brings up memories! We get back to FWB/Navarre/Defuniak Springs about once or twice a year. All my inlaws live there. Miss living there for years but for us we do not miss the traffic and the humidity!

Gooday All - another Brit with different military history - originally Royal Navy Medical Assistant, onboard D18 Antrim during Grenada conflict as a Junior 1983. Spent all my time with UK Commando Forces as Company LMA and then commonwealth transfer to Australian Army in 1990 - sadly 5 weeks in and broke ankle in wombat hole 🤣🤣 which ended career and took own discharge. Worked with V Corp in Northern Iraq during 2003 as a fat civvy setting up clinics to support US Military. Trying to track Andy B - EX RAAMC - we were in training together at SOAH Portsea , before I returned back to 1st Field Hospital. Based in Scotland, retired and now a "trainee responsible dog owner". During CP career spent a lot of time with several well known guys who wear former trident wearers 👍👍 all good people.
