San Diego Coffee meetup?

I’m wondering if anyone in San Diego (or Orange County etc if they want to drive down) has any interest in an informal meetup to just compare builds / share ownership notes / lessons learned / stories / plan possible trail runs / etc.

If we get enough interest we could pick a coffee shop with ample easy parking. I was thinking Sunday 5/3.

Looks like I'm going to be out of town for work that weekend - will keep an eye out for updates/alternative dates

Would the following Saturday 5/9 work for you?

Another owner had the idea that we should just attend a pre-existing car meetup event as a way to start with some momentum and then build from there / eventually have our own Grenadier recurring meetup when we have critical mass.

We were thinking of starting with the Saturday 5/2 Cars and Coffee in Rancho Santa Fe (all kinds of exotic cars meet there every Saturday morning). But we could probably easily push to 5/9 if you can make it then.

I'm potentially up in Sacramento/Dutch Flat area until 5/15 - won't know for sure until I get there on Monday & kick off the project.

My suggestion would be to attend one of Rancho Santa Fe Cars and Coffee. If we arrived early enough, we could have a block of space somewhere here:

Yes, that is the new plan! We (another owner and I have been discussing on the Facebook group feed also) are planning on attending 5/2. I agree we should get there early to stake out a good spot together. We’ll start with this 5/2 meetup and hopefully grow from there. Are you able to join 5/2?

Don't know for sure yet but don't see why not. It would be fun to have a row of vehicles.
I came to RSF C&C in early winter of 2024, and the Grenadier was totally mobbed. It isn't that much of a novelty now, but still not a presence in nearly any C&C.

Hopefully you can make it. Would be great to have a decent lineup to compare builds etc.
