I’m considering a day trip to the Red Rock area north of Mojave on Sunday. Early Sunday departure and late afternoon return. Anyone interested in joining me?

@Commodore did you make it to the Red Rock area? I always drive by it on my way up to Mammoth.

I have been to The Trona Pinnacles which I would say is worth the visit, just east of Ridgecrest, probably just like 50 miles from Red Rock Canyon area.

I didn’t make it there last weekend but have been there with the Grenadier before. I have also been to Trona. Trona is out this world but sorta a one trick pony. Red Rock has more to offer and could easily make you think you are in southern Utah.
