Hi all,
I bought my Grenadier last week and pick it up in Marin the first week of October. I wanted to see if we could all agree on some dates to get together whether for coffee or a good day on the trails. I'm done bashing rocks (trading in my 392 for this one) but exploring in a Trialmaster sounds like fun! I'm already looking for a ghost town to take my 11 year old son to.

I'm in Pacific Palisades and really want to do a Grenadier drive. I'll be out of the country for work until the 2nd week in January then I'm in! I think Newcomb's Ranch is closed for now though....
It is closed... with plans to get it reopened. Every Friday morning (if ACH is open) people still gather up there starting at around 7:30am and lasting a few hours depending on the weather.

My wife and I are working on a plan to do the Mojave Road March 21-23, 2025. While this was initially going to be a solo adventure… we’ve decided to open it up to SCIC members. It is, however, not a “club event”.

If there are other members of SCIC that would like to join us, let me know. There is a lot of history on the Mojave Rd and it will be an easy going, family friendly, self supported camping trip. If you’ve never done it before or are new to remote vehicle camping, feel free to ask questions.

Because permits are required if there are more than 7 vehicles… I’m going to limit the group to 7 vehicles (including me).

So far on the list:
Me
Arbi Karapetian
Nadir Elfarra
Burrero

This sounds like fun. Thanks for putting it together and I'm in. I've never done it before, I'd love to know more about the actual route (do we do it twice, take regular roads back, etc...)
