At least two of us require new windshields. The local auto glass have said they have two problems:

1) They can’t find a source for windshields and
2) They don’t have the data or equipment to calibrate them.

I have gotten conflicting information about whether some or all Grenadiers require calibration. I asked Eric Washington to clarify the situation. Elliot Bay has replaced many windshields and has used a local glass shop as a subcontractor to do the job. In no case yet for simple replacement have they calibrated replacement windshields. If you roll your Grenadier and crush the cab, your repair might be a bit more complicated but calibration is apparently not necessary for simple replacement.

With regard to sourcing new windshields, the Grenadier dealer in Boise, Lyle Pearson ( https://www.lylepearson.ineosgrenadier.com/), is able to ship new windshields and gutters (which I believe is some kind of window gasket) to us.

GRA-7E21-005990 Drain gutter

Now we need to persuade a local auto glass shop to try one for us.

Has anyone called and got a quote for shipping one up yet?

Luck would have it, I thought for sure i’d break mine on the way up the Cassiar or the Alcan, nope. Quick jaunt to the grocery store and BAM. Good chunk out of the center windscreen. See if my resin kit can repair it but thinking of ordering a window up before winter sets in too hard.

As far as replacement, if no calibration is required then it should be pretty straight forward for any shop to do it. May have to look around YouTube university
