Did any of you make it out to Tahuya last month? I work about every other weekend so I missed it. Will also miss March. Mike told me they may space them out more to make them feel more special. Looked fun based on the video they posted.

Hey Bruce, I was there. It was a lot of fun. More technical terrain than I anticipated. I have a few new light scratches and a very good working knowledge of the lockers now. At one point I was sliding toward a stump and stopped about 3" from my drivers door. Puckered just a bit. I have ordered Buzz's rock sliders and will wait until they are installed before I do another Tahuya event. I am hoping EB/Mike can do some less technical epic adventures. I am not sure what that would be, but if i come up with something I will be happy to share.

Cheers,

Rusty

One of the videos I saw someone slid really close to a wall or stump. May have been you but I can't find it. I'm glad I got my sliders on before heading out I guess. I am a novice off-road driver so the more protection the better! Definitely down for cutting my teeth on simpler stuff first.

I am at the 29 second mark fully flexed with the rear tire off the ground. I was not the person in the video close to the stump, but that is where I got really close. It was a great way to learn and I don't think I will intentionally take my G on anything more difficult than what we did that day.

Cheers!
