If you have a rear cargo shelf secured to the upper section of your boot/trunk, make sure you don't have any gear that in contact with your headliner. I had a collapsible shovel in a bag that, over time, rubbed a hole in the headliner.

I just place soft gear, jackets, blankets etc.) on the top shelf. With the bison gear under-shelf one can place hard gear there.

I did the same with a compressor. I hoping by the time I'm forced to sell mine it won't make any difference to the value. With all the stuff I have up there I can't see it anyway
