Electric Sidesteps
Does anyone have any experience with either of these two vendors?
or

I have a Grenny on order and need to find a solution.

I was out at Anza Borrego at a Mossey Ineos event last weekend. One of the other Grenadiers had the retractable side step installed. It looked very solid, but I do not know if it actually qualifies as a rock slider as well. He said that Mossey San Diego installed them. They might have more information.

Two different steps

I have the retractable steps purchased from Expedition HQ in AUS. I believe they are the ones who developed them first, then they were knocked off in China. I think they are all the same at this point. I like them a lot, after 2 trips to Moab in the past 6 weeks they tuck high and tight, and I have not had any issues. But they are aluminum, and not a true rock slider. If I was to drop the truck onto a boulder, they would dent.

The Rock Slider Engineering from Owl is a true steel rock slider that would take the boulder no problem, and it happens to have an electric step. I have not seen one personally, but I trust Rock Slider Engineering to have a bombproof product.

I like mine, happy with my choice. If I crush an aluminum rail at some point, I will replace it. No LED in mine.
