I think they are fine, but I’m not super picky about road tire noise in an offroad vehicle.
I run the same tire in the same size on my sprinter and I’ve never felt they were louder than any other aggressive all terrain I’ve had on there.
I have 35,000 miles on the sprinter tires.
If you want 255/85r17 there is only one tire offered in that size, so I suppose no matter what they are the quietest tire in that size? 😀
