So, I made some sketches, some templates and spoke to some fabricators to make me up some Wing Top checker plates. I'm going to be bringing a set, including myself and my lovely partner up to Gorsebank for people to perhaps win a pair, but also to see what they're about.

I thought I'd add some pics in as they've started taking off a little more than I expected (thankfully not from the wings of customers). If you'd like a set fitted, just let me know!

They can be clear coated aluminium or powdercoated black (or any colour you like really). Priced at £379 inc vat and fitting. They're also placed on using VHB tape as opposed to drilled and riveted. Absolutely no worries about them coming adrift at speed.

Also, let me know if you like them too! I took the time to scallop them along the A pillar and follow the angle of the headlamp trim for a flawless factory finish (or better, I've not seen the factory ones)

What sort of weight will these be able to take, will I be able to stand on them whilst doing my gutters or will the overall EU spec wings bend under my fat arse?

I wouldn't like to attempt to stand on them. The wings themselves are still unsupported underneath. They're sturdier with the tops, but not that much I don't believe. They're more for aesthetics and smaller load bearing.
