I've just had the pleasure of meeting @CRH today, after some ideas were thrown around on this forum regarding my Leisure battery installs, he opted for a brilliant system with hidden power sockets and the ability to add more if and when needed. Not only are these sockets discreet, they also protect items connected from flailing luggage or misplaced items. I added some Deutsche connectors behind the rear trim, this ensures an easy way of popping the trim panel off without having to reach behind and find the connectors on the cigar sockets.

1 forum member finally met, many more to go! Who's next?

Thank you for such a good job, and very pleased 😁
Good to meet with you too and a pleasure to find someone with a genuine interest in the vehicle and finding ways to make an already fabulous vehicle even better.
I can finally get a decent fridge and leave turned on without worrying about not being able to start the car👍
Thanks again.

You can let me know what you're going to be using, and I'll give you an estimation from there. Typically, recharging a laptop would generally need 300w to 400w to be on the safe side. Charging a few more items than that, or something larger then we will work it out depending

Sorry for the delay. I had trouble finding the specs. If you were to use a 300W inverter, that would be more than enough as my calculations state that the largest head pad they sell runs 110W. Using your 120ah battery, you would get over 5 hours constant usage too

Thanks, I would probably only be using during driving but good to know how long it would last.

what are people using a 3000W inverter for then!! I thought as it was a heating element it would need something more substantial than 300W

3000w is an obscene amount. The maximum I would run with the 120ah would be 1000w and for a very short period at a time. The lithium batteries are marathon batteries as opposed to sprinters, they're incredibly well at supplying small amounts of power for a long time, but aren't able to run huge power for long periods.

So if I got something like a 500W as an in-between spec would that power an electric camp kettle?

Low wattage camping kettles generally consume 750-1000w. Renogy do a 1000w inverter that's relatively inexpensive, one of the leisure builds I did, I routed the customers supplied Renogy to the 180ah battery
