Anyone have a hardwired dashcam fitted if so what model ? I was given a recommendation for a guy in paisley to fit a blackvue last year but have lost the post .

I’ve not got round to fitting one yet but you’ve probably seen most on the forum are going for one of the Wolfbox units. A quick search will bring up the thread.

yes that's what I was looking at and it reminded me now that the software issues are all resolved I should revisit the question of getting something fitted the woolfbox is diy but not too sure about the blackvue system

I think most units can be DIY or professionally fitted. DIY is quite straightforward however, if in doubt, take the professional route. To the best of my knowledge Blackvue are a top notch item.

Are there any iPhone app as that use your phone as a dash cam? Together with a dash mount it seems a neat solution.

Yep. Wolfbox is on my list for Santa this year. I was really impressed by the one Pete54 has in his Grenadier.

it would be a good idea to have a data usb socket in the overhead panel especially with those centre roof shelves that have appeared on amazon i keep knocking the ones in the cubbyhole
