Anyone up here like a set of as-new Bridgestone Duellers, M&S marked, all terrains (OEM fitment to some Grenadiers)?

I bought a spare set of steelies and they came with these tyres on, I just swapped my winters onto the wheels today so the Duellers are surplus to requirements.

If anyone is interested let me know before I stick em on Facebook Marketplace.

Free to a good home just to get them out of my shed 😂
I really would like them but we have so many sets of wheels I have a set for one of the wife's cars in the loft.
I wanted these tyres as I generally do motorway work and occasional green lanes. I'm even up Aberdeen way early and late next month, although I'm sure the car will be full of the wife's stuff anyway 😡🤬
So kind to offer foc, I did the same with a set of wheels off my last vehicle just to get rid after partexing.

What do you run as your winter tyres Baron?
Yokohama w-drive, we actually didn’t have a bad winter 23/24 (only about 5-6” snow at any one time) but they were great on icy roads down to about -7C or so, that was probably the coldest I was ever out in it.

It’s an interesting one, mud tyres are brilliant in deep fresh snow, winters not so much - they just dont have the tread depth. Winters are amazing in frost/ice/hard-packed snow. AT’s should be the perfect compromise and maybe some are but I never got on with bfg AT’s.

What i would really like are a mud tyre with a winter compound and lots and lots of sipes on the big blocks. I think Goodyear used to make a tyre like this but it was discontinued. In the USA and Canada I believe you can get versions of the Blizzak that are like this. I’ve also seen somebody cut sipes into a cheap remould mud tyre like a Insa Turbo, don’t think I’d be trusting those 😅

KO3s are said to be better in snow than the KO2s. According to the internet anyway, so that's got to be true...
I think I read that somewhere too and the 25 Grenadiers (Trialmasters at least) might be coming with these as standard, be interested to hear how people get along with them.

I'm not sure if I've got KO2's or KO3's but the OEM BFG's on my Gren have been excellent in the past week of snow. The truck feels really planted and when they do lose traction there's some pre-warning and no sudden sliding. My biggest bugbear is how the salt that is washed off the windscreen flows round the corner and dries on the front side windows so you can't see the wing mirrors properly 😋

Plenty of opportunity over the last few days to try out the BFG KO2 tyres. I would rate them as 6 or 7 out of 10 against a dedicated winter tyre. I certainly wouldn't worry about getting stuck, but they do lack that "velcro" feel that you get with a full winter. I deliberately initiated a few lock ups and they do slide a bit more than I'd like. The heavy tread also digs a bit too much on rutted snow and can pull the vehicle into the verge. I think I'll move to the Bridgestone Duelers ( thanks again BVT) for summer use and next winter try some Blizzaks.

😅

Last winter I was trying to drive from my shed over to the house, that bit at the top of my track had been polished a bit by various cars and delivery vans coming up and down and kept freezing and refreezing at night so it was even difficult to walk on. Proper glass-like.

On the AT’s, at a slow crawl i had literally no steering control and the grenadier was just slipping sideways down the hill, scary stuff.

Winters on and no issue at all.

Our driveway usually goes the same way - around 6 weeks of perma ice last winter.
