There are now five Grenadiers in Anchorage and one headed to Kenai. In addition there are allegedly two others in Alaska that are owned by relatives of Eric Washington, the Grenadier general manager at EBA,
I’ve placed two calls recently to the service department at EBA regarding the flying spanner program to which I’ve had no response. I called today and got the service adviser, Stavros Shepard, on the line. I specifically asked him about the flying spanner program today to see if that was going anywhere and I advised him that we have at least five Grenadiers in Anchorage now and a 6th on the way to Kenai.
A few need windshields, most need new locks under recall, software updates, and a few misc minor problems. He indicated that EBA was discussing the situation and that I would hear back by Friday. He knew nothing about the status of non dealer service centers. (In the meantime, I am using and have been very happy with Culmination Motorsports in Anchorage.

With respect to the windshield, Stavros now says that they do not require calibration so no special equipment is required. He said that they do not ship windshields from their shop, but that Lyle Pearson Ineos Grenadier in Boise will ship windows.
I know that there are at least two others that need windshields. Replacement requires two parts, the windshield itself, and the seal known as a drain gutter strip. We need to decide on a local glass shop to persuade them to install ours and then figure out the paperwork and insurance company coordination to make this happen.
Who needs a new windshield, software update, or lock replacement?
Any other maintenance required like HVAC work to get both the A/C and heater working properly?
