After 2.5 years of waiting for my reservation to turn into a vehicle, including 5 months of production delay due to the color combo, it's been a fun 14 months of ownership, but it's time for the next project.
I think I should start the post by saying my decision to sell it and move to a new project has absolutely nothing to do with the vehicle itself (brand, reliability, capability, etc). While they are generally quirky, I find it less quirky than many other British vehicles. And its capability is outstanding.
The vehicle has not been babied, but also not abused. There are definitely signs on the paint, bash plates, and skid plates that it has been used for the designed purpose. There are no dents to any of the body panels that I’ve ever found, although scratches are present on the passenger side rear bumper.
Has it been flawless for 30,000 miles? No, but it also has never left me stranded or rethinking my decision to drive it. It has endured more than a half dozen 14+ hour drive days back and forth across the country as well conquering some very technical terrain, all in comfort and exuding confidence.
Regular interval services have been performed by dealers (12k @ RDS - Oil change, F/R diff fluid, tire rotation, cabin filter; 24k @ MileOne - Oil change, rest DIY)
Current mileage at time of posting ~30,500 miles.
