The handy Links thread - links no comments

I was thinking about when people actually take delivery of their Grenadier and turn their mind to modifying or adding handy bits and pieces to their vehicle.

There are lots and lots of links all over the forums about things that we’ll all no doubt want to look at, but they’ll all be lost in the thousands of posts amongst comments that are on or off topic.

So, this is a thread to JUST POST A LINK AND A SHORT DESCRIPTION OF WHAT IT IS that you think others may consider a good thing.

I’m hoping this will be a great reference thread - yes it’s going to have all sorts of things in it and not have much of an order or structure, but maybe the search function will help that out a bit.

This thread will only be useful if it doesn’t get crowded by return comment and general banter.

So load it up - huds, suspension mods, drawer systems, roof racks, the best UHF, whatever. Just drop your link and a quick comment about why you think it’s one of the best options for the Grenny.

its a good idea, I think that after a while it may just become a total mess though.

How about a 'link' thread in the respective sections of the tech areas. so if some one wants to put up a link to an oil and filter deal then they use the power plant section, a link for awnings as above would go in the off-road, overloading...... section.

The big thing to remember is to actually put some sort of descriptive reason why the link is there, treat it as a mini review of a sentence or two.

Speaking of which if anyone has equipment or gear that they want to post more meaty reviews of then we can create a section for that.
