Roof - colors

Guys,

Question: Have two builds in the order cart. One with the Scottish white roof other with black in a lighter color. Will that color need additional maintenance going forward being white?
Extra cleaning, when rack goes on extra dirt etc?

Just curious as to anyone’s current experience. Thank you.

You're not supposed to wash these. They are made to get dirty and stay dirty.

Just go with what you prefer. Like the fella above says, they look great dirty!

Paint is paint. The roof will need the same maintenance no matter what color it is, as will the rest of the paint

I went with a black roof to blend in with the safari windows and black roof rack, water tank, and tool box.

I live in Florida and don’t regret my choice if you’re concerned about it making the vehicle hotter.

I have the white top and have owned two other cars with white tops. No extra maintenance beyond regular TLC.

Go with black to enhance the bush cred.
