Hi All

I just had a discussion with an Ineos customer services agent who was confirming my spec before sending the contract to sign. The PDF with my spec has the fuel consumption figures on page 6. Until today the spec had quoted the WLPT combined figure at 11.6 l/100km. After adding the utility belt and some floor mats the figure is now 19.2 l/100km! Ouch.

I was taken aback and asked them to confirm there hadn't been a misprint but here's the response...
I can confirm that the consumption & emissions figures remained unchanged and as follows:

Fuel consumption - combined (WLTP) 19.201 l/100km

CO2 emissions - combined (WLTP) 432.574 g/km

Best regards,

Jules

I do have raised air intake, roof rack and BF Goodrich tyres in the mix but I'm surprised it adds 80% to the official figures.

Surely this can't be correct. Anybody else seen this? Apparently the Facebook group has mentioned it but I don't do social media so can't confirm.

Thanks

Just checked my ordered configuration summary in the system and for my Fieldmaster Diesel it shows now 19.179 l/100km.
Emissions 432.163 g/km
😱

Brochure Online Specification still says 11.7 max for a Diesel SW.
Australian Version of Brochure dated 22 July 22

Tyres don't make any difference to WTLP figure in the online configurator "Summary" PDF.

Brochure (Germany) is from May 2022. The summary in the ordered specs have apparently been updated. Am afraid if this is confirmed I’m out :-(

My online summary shows for my Fieldmaster Diesel 19,177/100km. This must be wrong. Last month it showed 11,9 l/100km. And I expected my real life fuel consumption to be lower since I won't drive the G in the city.

Drove the B57 in a BMW X3 last week, 600km trip and it took 6 l/100km. Different car, I know. But it shows that the B57 is an efficient engine and therefore I cannot believe 19 litres in the G.

Don‘t know who or what they measured, but it so absurd in comparison to this engine in other BMW cars that 19 liters on 100 km is just wrong.

And the CO2 emissions 432 gram now would lead to +500 € tax increase p.a. o_O

My online summary on a new configuration I just ran shows the following

I am sure the figure you have, even assuming a euro comma in place of a decimal point, is an error as it has 19.177 nothings/100kms

edit: I have only added the extra battery post order. but this is not yet included in the summary. No snorkel. No roof rack.

My son thinks its a programming error when they try to adjust the WLTP for accessories. He thinks it's strange that they use 3 decimal points of accuracy when most WLTP figures only have 1 decimal point. I can only hope he's right.

Where did you make the changes?
I clicked the link in the email that I would like to change something and received a call some time after that. received an email confirmation that changes were made (not mentioning which ones) and that my order details online would be updated until end of July. Which did not happen yet.
